Picosecond Pulse Generation with a Single-Stage Standard Mach-Zehnder Modulator Employed

We proposed a stable and agile picosecond pulse generator using a single-stage conventional Mach-Zehnder modulator that generates ultra-flat frequency comb. 10-GHz 2.9-ps pulse trains were generated with a timing jitter of less than 130 fs.
