Optical Homodyne Receiver Comprising Phase and Polarization Diversities with Digital Signal Processing

We demonstrate the optical homodyne receiver, which employs phase and polarization diversities. Digital signal processing after homodyne detection makes the receiver sensitivity independent of the state of polarization and the phase noise of the signal.
