Introduction of digital television and radio services in the Arab world

In the paper, current and future trends in studio and transmission environments of sound and television services are overviewed. Based on an analysis of the existing situation in the Arabic countries, considerations for the introduction of digital broadcasting services in the Arab world are introduced. Mention is made of digital audio broadcasting and tables are given of: (1) sound broadcasting services in various Arabic countries, television production facilities in various Arabic countries, television broadcasting services and satellite television transmission in the Arab world.<
