Individual cylinder air/fuel ratio observer on IC engine using Takagi-Sugeno’s fuzzy model

The aim of this article is to design an estimator of the individual air-fuel ratio of each cylinder in an turbocharger internal combustion engine. A non linear model of the exhaust manifold is used to describe the dynamic of the different gas mass flows. Then, a Takagi-Sugenopsilas fuzzy model is derived from which an observer is developed. Finally, some simulations are given to show the efficiency of the proposed method.
