Arbitrarily oriented biaxial media branch point singularities pertinent to the solution of integral equations via method of moments

To calculate the location of the branch points, the use of the resultant technique is introduced. How this technique can be applied to multi-dimensional spectral integrals similar to which are generated in the solution of integral equations via MoM techniques is discussed. Finally, it is noted that it is possible to show a connection between the branch point surfaces shown with the direction of power flow. Indeed, if one calculates the direction of group velocity and determines those values that have zero power flow in the z macr direction, it will be seen that those points correspond to the branch point surfaces .
