Robust non-fragile stabilization and D-stabilization for delta operator uncertain systems

The aim of this note is to study robust non-fragile stabilization and robust non-fragile D-stabilization for the delta-operator formulated linear uncertain systems. The uncertainty is assumed to be norm-bounded and multiplicative controller gain variations are assumed in existence in the state feedback gain. Based on the notion of non-fragile quadratic stabilizability, a criterion of robust non-fragile stabilizability is derived in term of linear matrix inequality(LMI), and then the design methods of the state feedback controllers for robust non-fragile stabilization and for robust non-fragile D-stabilization are suggested respectively. A numerical example is included to illustrate the design methods.
