Preparation and electrical transport properties of n-type GaxPb1-xTe compounds

N-type Ga

Pb
_1-x
Te(x = 0.01~0.05) compounds were prepared by melting reaction method, and the influence of Ga content on the electric properties of this compounds were investigated. The results showed that the carrier concentration increased while the Hall mobility decreased with increasing Ga content. The electrical conductivity also increased significantly with increasing Ga content.
