Brain Interface Device for Long-Term Observation of Mouse Brain Using Two-Photon Uncaging Microscopy

In this study a brain interface device for long-term two-photon microscopy observation by applying microfluidic device technology using glass or polymer materials. The device is designed to be implanted into a certain part of the skull bone to close the drilled hole, and will enable easy delivery of caged glutamate into the brain tissue without any degradation of microscopy observation.
