Single Capacitor Bootstrapped Driver for TFT-LCD Gate Driver Circuit

A high-performance gate driver for active matrix TFT-LCD application is presented. High driving capability and low power characteristic are achieved by the proposed single capacitor bootstrap (SCB) technique. Simulation results indicate that the average power is 1.5mW with 5V supply voltage when simulated in a 0.35-μm CMOS technique. It is effective for high resolution and low power LCD drivers.
