A new control method of single-stage 4-leg matrix converter

This paper describes the Indirect Space Vector Modulation strategy for a single-stage 4-leg matrix converter. The input and output current/voltage spaces are used separately to allow control over both the output voltage and input current. Experiment results are presented verifying the operation of the proposed modulation technique.
