Novel view: frequency spectrum and harmonic distortion of FM signal based on DDS

Direct digital frequency modulated (DDFM) signal, which certainly on the direct digital synthesizers is widely used in EMC test and measurement. This paper analytically expressed the frequency spectrum of DDFM signal. Works of this paper also include: modifies the approximate formula for first order harmonic distortion (FHD) and discovers restrictions.
