Performance of Glass RPC in Streamer Mode for Irradiation With Coherent Photons

We have irradiated an RPC operating in streamer mode with laser light to investigate its properties. We found that the gas in the RPC could be ionized in two photon absorption process. The laser irradiation method is useful technique to investigate the characteristics of RPC systematically.
