Novel Cross Point Switch based on Zn1-x CdxS memory devices for FPGA

In this work, we show that Zn
_1-x
Cd
_x
S (ZnCdS)- based memory devices are superior cross point switch (CPS) having potential for usage in FPGA. We also present current limitation effect and excess-current programming method to ensure long-term (LT-) reliability for OFF- and ON-state of Zn
_1-x
Cd
_x
S-CPS, respectively.
