Discussion of TD-SCDMA Capacity

In this paper we show how to determine the capacity of a TD-CDMA system, for the simplest case of interference due to mobile users within a single cell first. Then we discuss the capacity in multi-cell including uplink and downlink. Smart antenna (SA) technique, combined with joint detection (JD), can improve the system capacity and enhance the system performance markedly.
