The Effect of a Magnetic Field on Wake Potential Structures

Potential profiles in the wake of a body in a plasma flow are presented for several values of a flow-aligned magnetic field. A transition from a potential "well" to a potential "hill" is found when the electron gyroradius becomes smaller than the size of the body transverse to the flow.
