Homodyne Network Analysis by a Digital Triple Phase Modulation and Baseband Sampling Technique

A homodyne network analyzer principle is presented which makes use of a chain of three digital insertion devices with unknown phase shift and insertion loss changes together with a linear frequency converter. Systematic errors are considered and some first measurement results are presented.
