An Experimental System for Picture Generation Using a Light-Emitting Diode Array

A rudimentary experimental picture-generation system is described. A television camera is used to obtain samples of an input scene. These data are processed in accordance with the signal perturbation theory and used to drive a light-emitting diode array which exposes a film sheet. Experimental results are presented.
