Structural and magnetic characterizations of coprecipitated Ni-Zn and Mn-Zn ferrite nanoparticles

Two different ferrite systems, namely Ni

_0.35
Fe

O
₄
(Ni-Zn) and Mn
_0.75
Zn
_0.18
Fe
_2.07
O
₄
(Mn-Zn) have been chosen for the present study to compare their structural and magnetic characterizations. Both Ni-Zn and Mn-Zn ferrite nanoparticles were prepared by a soft chemical approach of coprecipitation and then the samples of each system were separated into four batches before annealing them at different temperatures for improved crystallinity and magnetic performance. All the samples were then characterized by X-ray diffractiometry, vibrating sample magnetometry and ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) spectrometry.
