Variable Structure Design of a Fault Tolerant Control System for Induction Motors

In this paper we describe a method for designing switching controls and analyzing achievable performance for motor drives. The method is proposed as a means for constructing a family of controls to achieve acceptable operation of motors under a variety of fault conditions.
