On the Complexity of Compensation Handling in WS-BPEL 2.0 for 3rd Party Logistics

WS-BPEL is for specifying business process behaviour based on Web services. Business processes can be very long and encounter expected or unexpected exceptions. Compensations, or dealing with faults, can be a long, complex and imperfect process.
