Autoregressive Modeling of Layered Multi-Medium for EM Signal Processing

The authors present four lattice models of materials useful in describing multi-medium. The models are based on the coupled first order partial differential equations describing right-going and left going electromagnetic waves. Time variations are transformed out. Both scattering and transmission lattices for forward and backward spatial difference result from discrete versions of the wave equations.
