Independent Tunable-Q Current-mode OTA-C Universal Filter

An OTA-C current-mode universal filter with independent tunable-Q realized by band-reject function is proposed. The proposed circuit employs OTAs and grounded capacitors. The parameter Q

can be tuned independently from omega

. However, the other different kinds filter function as low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and band-reject response can be also obtained without changing circuit topology. The parameters omega

and Q

can be electronically tuned through adjusting the transconductance gains of the OTAs. Moreover, the parameter Q
_p
can be also tuned by changing component manually without effect to the omega
_P
