Mixing Statistical and Deterministic Electromagnetic Fields

In real environments electromagnetic fields are fed by independent, uncorrelated sources. This happens also in an complex or somewhat closed environment, like urban environments or building's rooms; but in this case the fields are fed by mixed sources, some direct, some indirect, such as images, more or less perfect, according the boundary conditions, either in geometry or in local behaviour. Such kind of fields cannot be described in usual terms, and, even if a fully deterministic description is thinkable, it is of void meaningfulness, in consideration of its criticality. On the other hand it is relevant to consider that fields mix according some rules that can be analysed, by modelling, in order to put in evidence the effect, if any, of some prevailing contribution and of its spatial distribution. Such effect is very difficult to be located in a volume scanning, but can be considered after statistical analysis of sampled fields. Some cases are under evaluation, such as a sinc like fixed contribution, or an offset contribution, representing, respectively, a rotating antenna and a fixed antenna, both in an environment statistically defined by narrow band, uncorrelated waves, such as in a reverberating chamber. Results appear to give some insight toward complex field analysis and simulation, in the purpose of establish a possible classification.
