Separation of Interleaved Nerve Spike Trains in a Noisy Channel

A system is described which allows nerve impulse signals to be enhanced by removing noise from the interspike intervals without distorting the spike waveforms. It allows interleaved spike trains to be separated under conditions of poor signal-to-noise ratio when this would normally have been impossible.
