Automated Computation of Cardiac Output and Shunts from Indicator Dilution Curves

A method for automatic computation of cardiac outputs using a digital computer program written in FORTRAN IV is presented. The program also computes the ratio of pulmonary to systemic flows so that the dye curve may be used for shunt detection and quantification as well.
