Effects of Partial Load Rejection on Fossil Fuel Utility Steam Generators

This paper presents a discussion of the effects of partial load rejection by utility turbine-generators on fossil fuel fired steam generator systems. Available surveys on reliability of steam generators undergoing large decreases in load are examined. Also, specific examples of load rejection are discussed.
