Optimization Using a Daily Fossil Fuel Management Program

This paper presents a description of an optimization algorithm for daily fossil fuel management. This algorithm is being developed using the Southwestern Public Service's system. The program uses several optimization techniques in sub models. The program is in the final stages of validation and testing.
