Programmable capabilities allow field customization of ASIC devices

The new Vialink antifuse technology is discussed. This allows ASIC customers to add PROM-style field programmability to standard ASIC devices. An overview of the technology is discussed. Techniques used to incorporate this circuitry into an ASIC device are also discussed.<
