Point-to-Point FTR Obligations Auction Based on AC-OPF by Interior Point Methods

An algorithm based on non-linear interior point methods is developed for the point-to-point FTR obligations auction problem in the case of the full AC network model. The bid quantities for FTR auction are introduced into the model as controllable variables and then a new augmented Hessian matrix is formed. Except for adding the dual and slack variables corresponding to FTR to the diagonal, the modifications are limited to the diagonal entries of the existing augmented Hessian matrix. The numerical examples of the systems with sizes from 5 to 118 buses are employed to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed methods.
