Efficient Islolation of fo in an Optical Frequency Synthesizer

Spliced and connectorized micro-structured fibre, periodically-poled KTP phase-matched for 1064nm SH-generation and a laser line filter at 532nm have lead to an efficient means of extracting the offset-frequency signal from a femtosecond-laser-based optical frequency synthesizer. The optical-to-microwave clockwork has been used to make frequency stability comparisons between optical and microwave radiation sources
