Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves by Arrays of Conducting Cylinders Interspaced by Inhomogeneous Dielectrics

The scattering and transmission properties of arrays of rectangular conducting cylinders interspaced by homogeneous and inhomogeneous dielectric materials are studied by a fimite-difference coupling method for an E-polarized incident wave. Computed numerical results are presented which reveal interesting physical phenomena.
