On the Use of Tailored Return-Stroke Current Representations to Simplify the Analysis of Lightning Effects on Systems

Considerable siniplification is possible in the analysis of the interaction between a lightning return-stroke current and a system by selecting a return-stroke current representation whose Laplace transform has the same general form as the transform of the system transfer function.
