Strengthening BME in Southeast Asia [Around the World]

A Europe Aid-funded project within the well-known Asia Link Program - "Development of Core Competencies in the Areas of Biomedical and Clinical Engineering in the Philippines and Indonesia"- is being hailed as one of the most successful human resource development programs supported by the European Commission. Involving two European biomedical engineering (BME) academic institutions and two Asian partners, the two-year project is focused on providing postgraduates and young university faculty of De La Salle University (DLSU) and the University of Indonesia with practical background and teaching skills to enable them to initiate undergraduate and graduate courses in biomedical and clinical engineering.
