40 Gb/s Transmission over a Reconfigurable 10 Gb/s WDM system scaling beyond 1000 km of G.652 fiber.

In this report, the first to our knowledge, 40 Gb/s transmission over a fully reconfigurable 10 Gb/s WDM system, that leveraging 40 Gb/s ODB channels, demonstrates a WDM system scaling beyond 410 Gb/s and 1000 km (12times80 km) of G.652 fiber, with 3 dB margin, even after the ROAMD filter concatenation, and typical residual chromatic dispersion penalties
