A planning horizon result and a protective forward method for the bounded inventory problem with discounted concave costs

We consider the dynamic lot size model with bounded inventory and di scounted concave costs. Under reasonable assumptions we prove the existence of ForecastPlanning Horizons and we give a simple protective forward procedure to detect them.
