PPM Channel Capacity Evaluation for Terrestrial FSO Links

Information theoretic channel capacity provides a basic figure of merit to analyze the performance of coded modulation. This paper presents analytical results on the PPM capacity of terrestrial FSO channels, considering the important link impairments in terms of fog attenuation and atmospheric turbulence.
