A method for line jitter reduction in videotape images

This paper describes a technique for reducing line jitter in video images. A custom VLSI device has been fabricated based on this technique, capable of operating on live video images. Having extracted the jitter, a range of possibilities exist for correcting and realigning the video lines.<
