Integrated design and assembly planning

This paper discusses an approach to reduce development times in design, assembly planning and assembly. This is done by the development of synchronized organization forms, powerful software tools and a flexible assembly system. After a short introduction the current situation is described. From this the most important targets are derived and finally a specific solution is presented.<
