EMI testing of a high speed rail train set

A series of tests were performed to investigate the potential for electromagnetic interference (EMI) from the operation of a high speed rail train set. The EMI effects on the railroad signaling system were studied. The potential for the train's variable frequency traction motors to compromise the safety signaling system on the train was analyzed.<
