On the application of bifurcation theory to nonlinear modeling

Bifurcation theory is applied to the modeling of a fed-batch fermentation process having Monod-type dynamics. The success of this strategy in modeling such highly nonlinear processes indicate an enormous potential for modeling general nonlinear processes.<
