Tuning and optimisation of membership functions of fuzzy logic controllers by genetic algorithms

A method is developed to tune and optimise the membership functions of fuzzy logic controllers by using genetic algorithms. The set of fuzzy If-Then rules and their membership functions of the truck back-upper problem is considered.<
