Rectification property of photoconductive crystal under spatially asymmetric illumination

Generation of direct current flow through a photoconductive crystal with applied ac electric field under illumination by two intensity patterns with fundamental and doubled spatial frequencies is theoretically investigated. Analysis is restricted to the case of large temporal frequency of external ac field.<
