Seasonal variation of temperature in the English Channel: numerical model and infrared remote sensing

A seasonal description of the thermal behaviour of the English Channel has been made. Two tools were used for this task. The first was the systematic interpretation of infra-red images. The second involves three-dimensional modelling. The methods are briefly described, highlighting the results and the expedient interaction between both techniques.<
