Open Distributed Computing-an overview of the architecture

Open Distributed Computing is Hewlett-Packard's solution to cooperative computing in a multi-vendor, heterogeneous environment. A set of architectural specifications we call the overall architecture guides the implementation of such an enterprise information processing system.
