A simple but efficient iteration algorithm for self-consistent magnetic recording models

This paper describes a simple and easy to implement algorithm for carrying out iterative self-consistent calculations of the magnetic recording problem. This algorithm does not require the choice of any "relaxation parameter" yet will rapidly converge to a solution for any problem in which the recording medium is characterized by a continuous hysteresis loop model. Simulation results comparing this algorithm with optimal "fixed relaxation parameter" performance is given.<
