Inverse multiplexing

Inverse multiplexing offers an approach to high-speed data networking that is different than many other currently fashionable network technologies. It uses a new type of customer premises-based equipment that makes use of existing network services to provide significantly enhanced functionality, rather than requiring a new and yet-to-be-implemented set of capabilities to be added to the network.
