A computationally efficient technique for deriving 2-variable VSHP and its application

A method for the generation of 2-variable very strictly Hurwitz polynomial (VSHP) free of any nonessential singularities of the second kind is presented. The proposed technique utilizes the properties of positive definite and semidefinite matrices along with resistive matrices to avoid calculation of higher-order derivatives which are cumbersome. Through an example, the usefulness of the proposed technique and its applications in 2D filter design are demonstrated.<
