Analysis of frequency selective surfaces with open and short circuited elements

Dyadic Green's function methodology is used to analyze periodic structures with open or short circuited square rings as elements. The possibility of using this geometry for multiband operation is investigated, and the variation of its reflectivity with the incident angle of the illuminating plane wave is studied.<
