Electricity generation from sources of renewable energy

It has become generally accepted that we have a duty to future generations to conserve resources and reduce pollution. In addition, the contribution carbon dioxide makes to global warming has been recognised and hence there is a drive to reduce CO/sub 2/ emissions. The author describes how, in the field of power generation many environmental objectives can be met by the use of sources of energy which are classified as renewable.<
