System for the management of digital threat models

The US Air Force Foreign Aerospace Science and Technology Center (FASTC) is in the midst of expanding its threat assessment process to include intelligence products based on digital threat models. While this expansion involves a broad spectrum of developmental activities, the emphasis is on building an operational prototype of a retooled threat assessment support environment (TASE). The authors describe the motivations for expanding the assessment process, the vision of how the new process will operate, implications to the TASE design, the approach FASTC is taking to turn this vision into a reality, and the design of the prototype TASE.<
